Earth Observatory of Singapore: Earth Girl (2D Animator)

Southern Star Singapore: Hairy Legs Series 2014 (2D Animator)

Project Wolbachia

I storyboarded and animated Episode 5 entirely. Was also responsible for the compilation and after effects for all the episodes. Also designed props for the series.

Start Small Dream Big 2021

I complied and edited this animation for ECDA. I helped animate one single scene at 1:45. The animation went through numerous revisions before we came to a final version. It was a fun and cute project!

Soaper 5 Animated Series

I complied and edited this animation for MOE. We did 6 episodes detailing the formation of this fictional team of kids who have superpowers. The objective was to teach children on how to stay clean and safe during the pandemic. I did special effects and some animated scenes for these episodes.

Hairy Legs (Southern Star Singapore)

Hairy Legs is a 52 episode cartoon series by Southern Star. In 2014, I had my internship there after graduating from ITE College Central and helped to animate episodes 31 - 42. This video is a collection of scenes I animated using Toon Boom Harmony. However I did not animate the scenes from 2:32 onwards, instead it features props I rigged for the show, such as Yo-Yos, Pogo Sticks, Pizza and Trucks. This project is by far my favourite as I really enjoyed the process of bringing an animation to life and it was a bucket list to animate for a cartoon show. Huge thanks to Southern Star Singapore for giving me this opportunity to learn and have fun with them. I will always cherish this memorable experience!

Big Downfall

A short animation I made with Toon Boom Harmony in 2015 while schooling at Nanyang Polytechnic.

I only had two weeks to animate this and succeeded. The plot follows Tinie Winie, who is feeding birds on his air balloon. However an oversized bird lands on his air balloon, causing it to slowly descend to the sharp mountains below. Can Tinie Winie get the fat bird off his air balloon before it crashes?

Change (Earth Observatory of Singapore)

This is a short film directed by Isaac Kerlow of Earth Observatory of Singapore in 2016. I contributed some animation for the film using Toon Boom Harmony, they can only be seen briefly from 3:00 to 3:14. The idea was to create several looping animations of cartoony people doing something, they will be scattered throughout the environment as the camera pans. I created numerous animations, but only a select few were chosen. At that time, the animation I made was confidential and I wasn't allowed to put the work into my portfolio. Years later I contacted the company to retrieve my work which I created for them, but the individual animations have been lost to my disappointment. Below are screenshots of the lost animations I made for the film.

How to Escape Office Overtime (Ministry of Funny)

This is a short comedic animation directed by Ministry of Funny in 2016. As a freelancer, I contributed to the storyboards using Photoshop of the first half of the animation from the beginning until 1:35. The storyboards are can be viewed below. Unfortunately I couldn't contribute animation-wise as I became too busy with school halfway. Regardless, I really enjoyed working on this project and I'm very happy with the end result as I personally think its very funny and creatively written.
